Almond custard filling


INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

* 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
* 2 tablespoons cornstarch
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 1 1/2 cups water
* 4 egg yolks, beaten
* 1 teaspoon almond extract

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix nonfat dry milk, cornstarch, and sugar together in a medium sized saucepan. Stir in a mixture of water and egg yolks gradually, until smooth. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and smooth. Continue to cook while stirring over low heat for one minute longer. Remove from heat and stir in almond extract. Allow custard to cool before using.

Quick Cake


INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

* 1 1/2 cups sifted pastry flour
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup water
* 1/3 cup vegetable oil
* 1/4 cup white vinegar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Have ready an un-greased 8 inch square pan.
2. Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt into an un-greased pan. Make a well in the center and pour in the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Mix until blended.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.

Wheat peanut butter cookies


INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

* 1 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 1/2 cup honey
* 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
* 1 egg
* 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
* 1 teaspoon baking powder

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, butter, honey, brown sugar and egg until smooth. Combine the whole wheat flour and baking powder; stir into the batter until blended. Roll into small balls, and place on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly using a fork.
3. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cookies are slightly toasted at the edges.

Chocolate layer cake


INGREDIENTS

* 1/4 cup shortening
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 egg
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/4 cup baking cocoa
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 3/4 cup milk
* FROSTING:
* 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
* 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
* 1/2 cup baking cocoa
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 tablespoons hot water

DIRECTIONS

1. In a mixing bowl, beat shortening and sugar. beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Pour into a greased and floured 9-in. round baking pan.
2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
3. For frosting, in a small mixing bowl, cream butter. Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar, cocoa, vanilla and enough water to achieve spreading consistency.
4. To assemble, cut cake in half. Place one half on a serving plate. Spread with 1/2 cup frosting. Top with remaining cake. Spread remaining frosting over top and rounded edge of cake.

14-karat cake


INGREDIENTS

* 1 1/3 cups sugar
* 2 eggs
* 2 egg whites
* 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
* 1/3 cup canola oil
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 cup whole wheat flour
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
* 3 cups shredded carrots
* 1/2 cup golden raisins
* 6 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese
* 1 tablespoon butter or stick margarine, softened
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3 cups confectioners' sugar
* 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
* 3 tablespoons flaked coconut, toasted

DIRECTIONS

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first five ingredients until smooth. Combine the flours, baking soda, salt and spices; add to the egg mixture and mix well. Stir in carrots and raisins. Pour into a 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
2. For frosting, in a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla until smooth. Beat in sugar. Frost the cake. Sprinkle with walnuts and coconut. Refrigerate.

Bolu pisang




Bahan-Bahan :
150 Gram Terigu
5 Sendok makan Susu Bubuk Krim
1/2 Sendok teh Baking Powder
150 Gram Gula Halus
150 Gram Margarin, cairkan
6 Butir Telur
1 Sendok makan TBM
2 Buah Pisang Ambon, haluskan
1 Buah Pisang Ambon, potong-potong

Cara Mengolah :


1. Siapkan cetakan kue bolu, oleskan margarin di bagian sebelah dalam, taburi terigu hingga merata.
2. Campurkan Terigu, Susu bubuk krim dan baking powder, aduk hingga teracmpur merata.
3. Kocok telur dan gula sampai putih.
4. Masukkan TBM, kocok sampai mengembang.
5. Masukkan pisang yang sudah dihaluskan, kocok rata.
6. Masukkan campuran terigu, kocok perlahan sampai tercampur rata.
7. Masukkan Margarin cair, aduk merata.
8. Tuangkan adonan ke dalam cetakan.
9. Panggang sebentar sampai 1/2 matang (kurang lebih 25 menit), keluarkan, dan taburi dengan potongan pisang.
10. Panggang kembali sampai matang (sampai permukaan berwarna cokelat kekuningan)

Pudding Batik




Bahan-Bahan :
Bahan Larutan putih:
750 ml susu cair
9 gram agar-agar putih
150 gram gula pasir
2 kuning telur
250 ml krim kental

Bahan Larutan coklat:
500 ml susu cair
120 gram gula pasir
5 g agar-agar putih
150 g cokelat masak pekat, lelehkan
2 kuning telur kocok

Bahan Vla:
500 ml air jeruk manis
200 gram gula pasir
3 sendok makan maizena, larutkan dengan
3 sendok makan air

Cara Mengolah :


Membuat Larutan Putih:
1. Masak susu cair, agar-agar, gula pasir, hingga mendidih.
2. Kocok kuning telur, tambahkan 1 sendok sayur susu cair, aduk rata.
3. Tambahkan krim kental. Aduk rata.
4. Tuangkan adonan ke dalam panci. Panaskan hingga mendidih. Angkat.
5. Biarkan hingga setengah keras.

Membuat Larutan Cokelat:
1. Masak susu cair, gula pasir, agar-agar, cokelat, hingga mendidih.
2. Kocok kuning telur. Tambahkan 1 sendok sayur susu. Aduk rata.
3. Tuang kembali ke dalam adonan agar-agar. Aduk rata hingga mendidih. Sisihkan.
4. Biarkan hingga setengah keras.

Membuat Vla:
1. Rebus air jeruk manis, gula pasir, larutan maizena. Aduk rata.
2. Ambil 1 sendok sayur susu ke dalam kuning telur aduk rata.
3. Masukkan kembali ke adonan susu. Aduk rata hingga mendidih. Angkat. Aduk-aduk.

Penyelesaian:
1. Siapkan cetakan segitiga (volume 1500 ml).
2. Basahi dengan air.
3. Tuang adonan putih dan cokelat bergantian, hingga menyerupai batik.
4. Bekukan.
5. Sajikan puding bersama vla.

Lemon Cake




Bahan-Bahan :
200 gram mentega - cairkan
6 butir kuning telur
150 gram tepung gula (gula halus)
200 gram tepung terigu, ayak
1 sendok makan rhum
1 sendok makan essens lemon
1/2 sendok makan baking powder
5 buah cherry merah

Cara Mengolah :


1. Kocok kuning telur, mentega cair dan tepung gula sampai mengembang.
2. Campurkan tepung terigu sedikit demi sedikit.
3. Kocok terus dan campurkan rhum, essens lemon dan baking powder.
4. Aduk rata dan diamkan selama 30 menit.
5. Tuang ke loyang dan panggang dalam oven.
6. Setelah matang, hias dengan irisan cherry merah.

Kue Madu Emping Jagung




Bahan-Bahan :
200 gram mentega
100 gram gula pasir
3 sendok teh madu
1 butir telur
100 gram emping jagung, tumbuk kasar
50 gram ceri merah, potong kecil
50 gram ceri hijau, potong kecil
100 gram havermut
150 gram tepung terigu
1/2 sendok teh baking powder
Garam secukupnya

Cara Mengolah :


1. Kocok mentega bersama gula, madu dan telur hingga lembut.
2. Masukkan emping jagung, ceri merah dan ceri hijau. Aduk rata.
3. Masukkan havermut, tepung terigu yang diayak bersama dengan baking powder, dan garam. Aduk rata.
4. Ambil setengah sendok makan adonan, bentu memanjang. Letakkan di loyang yang sudah diolesi margarin.
5. Oven hingga matang.

Kue Coklat Cornflake



Bahan-Bahan :
150 gram mentega tawar
60 gram (brown sugar) (*)
1 butir telur ayam
1/4 sendok teh vanii bubuk
125 gram tepung terigu
2 sendok makan cokelat bubuk
75 gram corn flake (keping jagung)(**)

Bahan Hiasan:
100 gram cokelat masak pekat, lelehkan
2 sendok makan kelapa parut kering, siap pakai

Cara Mengolah :


1. Siapkan loyang datar ukuran 30 x 30 x 3 cm, olesi dengan mentega hingga rata. Sisihkan.
2. Kocok mentega dan brown sugar hingga lembut.
3. Masukkan telur dan vanili sambil kocok terus hingga rata.
4. Tambahkan tepung terigu dan cokelat bubuk, aduk rata.
5. Masukkan keping jagung, aduk cepat.
6. Cetak kue dengan bantuan 2 sendok teh. Susun di atas loyang.
7. Panggang dalam oven panas suhu 160° C selama 20 menit hingga matang. Angkat, biarkan dingin.

Hiasan:
1. Olesi permukaan atas kue dengan cokelat leleh hingga rata.
2. taburi dengan kelapa kering. Biarkan kering.

Note: Untuk penyimpanan sebaiknya simpan dalam stoples yang kedap udara.

(*)Brown Sugar: Sejenis gula pasir yang butirannya berwarna coklat.
(**)Corn Flake adalah biji jagung yang dipipihkan dan dipanggang.

Coco Crunch Cookies



Bahan-Bahan :
150 gram mentega
2 kuning telur
1 putih telur
175 gram gula halus
250 gram tepung terigu
20 gram cokelat bubuk
50 gram coco crunch

Cara Mengolah :


1. Kocok mentega bersama telur dan gula halus hingga lembut.
2. Masukkan tepung terigu yang telah diayak bersama cokelat bubuk. Aduk dengan sendok kayu hingga rata.
3. Ambil satu sendok makan adonan, taruh di atas loyang yang telah diolesi mentega.
4. Susun coco crunch di atasnya, lalu oven hingga matang.
